What is FUCE?
Fire Up your Career Engine (FUCE) is a series of
career seminars and workshops delivered by experienced trainers
or industry professionals to get you prepared for your career.
Through the FUCE programme, you will:
Gain understanding on graduate recruitment trends and employers’ expectations
Be aware of your aspirations for effective career planning and preparation
Increase confidence and competitiveness in job applications
Learn essential skills for job interviews and assessments
Develop appropriate mindset and skills to survive and succeed in the workplace

Impress Interviewers with Your Presentation

➤ Learn how to make an impressive self-introduction during job interview
➤ Acquire the skills to present answers in interview and group discussion and to avoid the common mistakes
Psychology of Workplace Communication & Relationships
2:30 PM – 4:00 PM Venue: MB217, Main Building
Expected Learning Outcome:
➤ Develop a deeper understanding of the importance of empathy in communication and its impact on building work relationships
➤ Enhance collaboration, feedback delivery, and conflict resolution skills in the workplace
Career Limiting Behaviours You Should Avoid

➤ Become aware of the corporate culture and management expectations in order to avoid behaviours that may limit your career advancement
➤ Go through case studies on potential career pitfalls and identify the ways to navigate them in the workplace

Registration Method
Notes for Registration:

The sessions will be conducted either face-to-face or online by Zoom.

Priority will be given to students graduating in 2024; other students or fresh graduates are welcome to join.

You can register for any one or all of the sessions.

Quotas are limited, please register as soon as possible.
