  • Get familiar with the AI Career 360 platform and its CV Checker tool to obtain instant CV feedback

  • Learn how to polish your CV for passing applicant tracking system (ATS) screening



Unique Personal Branding Begins with Knowing Yourself

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Understand how to evaluate yourself and adapt career planning to the new normal

  • Be able to create a unique personal brand to stand out from the crowd in job searching and your career journey


CV Go Pro – Individual CV Consultation (Re-run)
(CEDARS x HKU Convocation)

2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Have your CV reviewed by experienced HKU alumni from various professions

  • Receive feedback on your CV through individual consultation

* Each participate will be offered a 20-minute individual consultation session by Zoom.

** Quota is limited, only selected students will be invited to join.


Look Behind Common Interview Questions (Re-run)

4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Understand interviewers' expectation on common interview questions

  • Comprehend the ways to structure answers for competency-based questions


Making the Best Decision on Job Offers (Re-run)

2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Learn about the strategies in choosing between multiple job offers

  • Demonstrate the ability to take guesswork out of the decision making process


Job Offer Negotiation & Contract Signing (Re-run)

11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Understand how to negotiate, accept, or reject a job offer

  • Get to know the components of an employment contract and important points to note in the signing process


Building Mental Resilience for a New Era of Work

2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Expected Learning Outcome:

  • Develop the skills to build mental resilience and strength to deal with difficult situations and challenges at work

  • Identify the ways to keep emotions regulated and control stress level for self-care

Notes for Registration:

  • All the sessions will be conducted in English by Zoom.

  • Priority will be given to 2022 fresh graduates and students graduating in 2023, but other students are welcome to join.

  • You can register for any one or all of the sessions.

  • Some sessions welcome or require you to upload your CV during registration, you are reminded to follow the instructions on the online registration form.

  • Students being selected for CV Go Pro – Individual CV Consultation will receive a separate message on the consultation time slot.

  • Quotas are limited, please register as soon as possible.

  • Once you receive our confirmation email, please make sure you attend the session(s) you have signed up for; otherwise you will be put in a lower priority for future programmes.
