What is FUCE?

Fire Up your Career Engine (FUCE) is a series of

career seminars and workshops delivered by experienced trainers

or industry professionals to get you prepared for your career.

Through the FUCE programme, you will:

Gain understanding on graduate recruitment trends and employers’ expectations

Be aware of your aspirations for effective career planning and preparation

Increase confidence and competitiveness in job applications

Learn essential skills for job interviews and assessments

Develop appropriate mindset and skills to survive and succeed in the workplace

Skillsets for The Future

Expected Learning Outcome:

➤ Learn about the impact of working with and without a sense of purpose, and how it affects your overall well-being
➤ Identify your drive using the IKIGAI model and align your personal values with your career goals


MBTI – Understanding Your Personality & Career Inclination

Expected Learning Outcome:

➤ Understand the essential personality types described by the MBTI tool and their practical significance in your daily life and career aspiration
➤ Get your own MBTI Career Report which will help you identify job families and occupations that are a good fit for your reported MBTI type

* Students are required to complete an online MBTI assessment before the workshop.

Industry Immersion – Navigating Your Future Business Career

Establishing a Professional Profile & Finding Jobs through LinkedIn

 Establish a LinkedIn profile to enhance your presence amongst potential employers

Cracking Hypothetical Interview Scenarios

Learn about the typical types of hypothetical interview questions and the evaluation criteria
➤ Master the concept of logical thinking and effective communication in tackling hypothetical interview scenarios


Understanding and Navigating Cultural Differences in the Workplace

Expected Learning Outcome:

Increase awareness about cultural diversity in international and local businesses, as well as between large and small businesses
Understand the significance and influence of workplace culture and identify the type of culture that is essential for your professional growth

Registration Method

Notes for Registration:

  1. The sessions will be conducted either face-to-face or online by Zoom.

  2. Priority will be given to 2023 fresh graduates and students graduating in 2024; other students are welcome to join.

  3. You can register for any one or all of the sessions.

  4. Quotas are limited, please register as soon as possible.

  5. Once you receive our confirmation email, please make sure you attend the session(s) you have signed up for; otherwise you will be put in a lower priority for future programmes.
